On July 31, 2009 we had excellent seeing conditions while imaging Venus – almost 8-9/10.
The image of Venus in UV light was surprisingly crisp and calm with the very sharp limb. Only once before we had such stable seeing for Venus UV imaging – 2007/10/10. The processing of raw material resulted in wonderful detail and very high contrast both in UV and IR light. Despite of rather small angular size of Venus at the moment this image is one of the best Venus images that we had made.
