Hi all,
when I want ta add a relationship to an object entity I get some prepared in
the listbox in the modeler. But the one I need is not in the list.
In the sources I have seen, that some possible relationships are deleted from
view with the comment they would be "absurd", and the metric is : they are longer then shortest + 2 (ChooseDbRelationshipDialog.java).
What is the reason for taking "2" and isn't it better to let them be longer
and only to sort the shortest (in most cases the needed) on top?
Example:
mandant-->>client -->> projects -->> tasks -->>budgets
every obj. has a relationship toCreator it is 1:1 and maps to user
so every relationship of
mandant-->USER
mandant-->>client -->USER
mandant-->>client -->> projects -->USER
mandant-->>client -->> projects -->> tasks -->USER
mandant-->>client -->> projects -->> tasks -->>budgets->USER
can be used,
but only the first 3 are shown.
