Dataport does not support destinations with database generated primary key
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

             Key: CAY-677
             URL: http://issues.apache.org/cayenne/browse/CAY-677
         Project: Cayenne
            Type: Bug

      Components: Cayenne Core Library
        Versions: 1.2 [STABLE]
     Environment: Derby
        Reporter: Øyvind Harboe
        Priority: Minor

When I try to use dataport to copy a table where the destination has a primary key that is generated by the database, the primary key isn't copied, rather the database generated key is kept.

Reading through the Derby adapter, I don't see any obviously wrong(harder to tell if something is missing).

Is this supported for other adapters?

Do I need to provide evidence or is this a more or less known problem?
