Ok, after some back and force with the infra team, it turns out that
all commit..lists only accept mail from apache.org, but not the
Apache subdomains. So de..ayenne.a.o as a From address resulted in
message being dev'nulled. Infra wasn't receptive to the idea of
allowing subdomains, so I changed the from address to the standard jir...o
. Now the messages are going through. Since "Reply-To" is set to "de..ayenne.a.o
", you can still hit reply and redirect discussion to the dev list.
The only caveat is that authors and assignees of the issues will
receive two copies of each message, and only the one received via
commit..list will have the correct Reply-To.
Anyways, it "works".
