    Can it also be related to the registry leftovers from the old JVM's?
    I just tried M12 .exe on my girlfriend's XP - it starts OK.

    We are using Launch4J to build the exe - http://
    launch4j.sourceforge.net/ I probably need to ping their forum, but I
    wonder if there is any way to trace what actually happens and what
    causes exe death. Anyone with Windows experience here?

    Also, you've probably discovered that already, but I still thought
    I'd mention - cross-platform Modeler download contains modeler.bat
    and can be launched on Windows:
