For anyone who is interested in migrating from Subclipse to
Subversive, here is what Subversive recommends:
    http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/faq.php#checked

I did not read that until after I had started. Here is what I
    actually did:
    1. Quit Eclipse
    2. Remove all the *subclipse* files and folders under eclipse/features
    and eclipse/plugins
    3. Start Eclipse
    4. Quit Eclipse (who says I am not paranoid?)
    5. Start Eclipse
    6. Install Subversive from
         http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update-site/
         and the SVN connectors from
         http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/
    7. Restart Eclipse. Gee, this is just like Windows!
    8. Delete all my projects
    9. Import all my projects

So far, it is all very smooth. I removed all the text decorations and
turned on all the icon ones. Easier on the eyes.
