If you want to use -D's I would set them in the VM arguments ... The
launch arguments is really for WO-specific properties. Even better, I
would never set -D's in VM arguments and put them in Properties
instead. But there ARE some default -D's in that list. I don't know
if it even handles those properly ... It definitely seems like a bug.
-D has to have an equals, not a space, and it's obviously breaking for
that right now.
