Key: WOL-870
URL: http://issues.objectstyle.org/jira/browse/WOL-870
Project: WOProject/WOLips
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: wolips
Affects Versions: WOLips 3.3.2.* (nightly build please specify)
Environment: MacOS-X 10.4.11 / Java 1.5.0_13 / Eclipse 3.3.2 / WOLips 5319
Reporter: Jean-François Veillette
In order to format random java files (not just the one used in eclipse project) use the same formatter as the one used inside eclipse, I use eclipse itself like this :
/path/to/eclipse -application org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaCodeFormatter -verbose -config /Path/To/Perfect/Setting/org.eclipse.jdt.core.prefs /Path/To/Source/To/Reformat/
I would like to use the component template formatter from the command-line in the same manner.
The idea to use a common formatter is to minimize noise comparing different files.
The idea to use it as a command-line tool is to make it run for whole project conversion, whole project migration or in a loop to reformat whole project history (git filter-branch).
