Oracle FLOAT reverse engineering problem

    Hi,

Anyone aware of this problem with Oracle database reengineering: FLOAT
columns are reported by the Oracle driver as java.sql.Types.OTHER (as
opposed to expected java.sql.Types.FLOAT, or at least DOUBLE, like Sybase
    does).

Are there any workarounds to determine the correct type?

Code used for reverse engineering is in DbLoader class at
    http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cayenne/cayenne/src/org/objectstyle/cayenne/access/DbLoader.java?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
under "loadDbEntities" (and it needs some cleanup I guess :-))

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Andrus
