Logging and other "deprecated" warnings are due to the fact that all JDK1.4
related API was deprecated and replaced with other methods. I thought it was
a good idea to preserve the API for the time being, so that people who used
Cayenne prior to Alpha 3 don't have to change their code.
Though I guess it is OK to clean up all deprecated API for the future Beta 1
release. Hopefully this will not create too many problems for the early
adopters.
+1 for this change. You can go ahead and remove deprecated methods.
I will make an anouncement on the web site after this is done.
