Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CAY-162
Summary: Cayenne Modeler doesn't remember custom class templates
Type: Bug
Status: Assigned
Priority: Minor
Project: Cayenne
Components:
CayenneModeler GUI
Versions:
1.1 [DEV]
Assignee: Andrus Adamchik
Reporter: Michael Gentry
Created: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 5:52 PM
Updated: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 5:52 PM
Environment: Mac OS X
Description:
I created custom subclass.vm and superclass.vm templates in /usr/local/java/cayenne/current and used Cayenne Modeler to generate the classes (using the custom sub/superclass fields to specify the template files). I looked at the Java files it created and then changed the templates again. Going back into generate classes (having never left Cayenne Modeler), the custom sub/superclass fields were blank. The modeler should remember these values, especially with the application having never been exited. I'd suggest saving them between sessions, too.
