Yeah, fault tolerance is the biggest concern now (even if application
behaves correctly), since we are not running a real DB server. I guess
your idea about defaults DB is the way to go. We can simply mount yet
another DB as read-only (HSQL allows that) and consult it in case of
failures. We'll get there at some point - this framework is pretty raw
yet.
