I can see that ending up in a .signature somewhere ... :-)

Subject: Cayenne CVS Branches
Yesterday I indeed messed up CVS branch tags in an attempt to move
"STABLE" branch from 1.0 to 1.1 (ignoring clear and unambiguous warning
in the docs that by doing that I am asking for trouble)... So after
spending a few more hours on that, I kind of fixed it now, and here is
what we have:
1. "STABLE" branch is currently broken, don't use it! If you need 1.0
code, use release tags.
2. "STABLE-1-1" is the current stable branch for 1.1 release. I guess
in the future we will have to branch releases separately (I kind of
found a workaround to "move" the branch, but it is clearly not worth
it).
3. HEAD is for 1.2 check ins.
