Sure, it is a Windows 2003 Server box running IIS ... Just kidding ;-)
The box was running RedHat 9 which has no support for a few years.
Not that it caused any problems (this machine ran smoothly without
reboots for like 1.5 years), but I started to worry about security,
as I couldn't do upgrades anymore. So now I installed Fedora Core 3
on top of it, and will probably move to Core 4 when it is released
officially.
Surprisingly the upgrade went very smooth. No patching qmail
(something I had to do with last RedHat upgrade), just had to
manually upgrade mod_jk and dump and recreate PostgreSQL (7.4 is not
backwards compatible with 7.3)... Now it looks like everything is up
and running.
