Folks,
I thought it would be a great idea to package Cayenne as a Linux RPM
and add it to JPackage RPM library - http://www.jpackage.org/ . This
would make it much easier to install cayenne-nodeps on Linux and also
serve as an extra promotion tool.
I was wondering if anybody has experience building RPMs using
JPackage format? I put this on my TODO list, but it may take a while
until I have time to get to it, so any help is appreciated.
[Another related thing I have on a TODO list is a Mac-friendly distro
with framework packaged as a .dmg and CayenneModeler as a .app ...
There is no research required, just setup the ant tasks to use
"hdiutil", wish I could get to that rather sooner than later. Sigh.]
