I don't know if any actual app servers that ship with 1.3, though
Oracle's embedded container does. Most apps deployed into that
container are scheduled utility scripts, etc though... I can't picture
somebody writing something sophisticated enough to use an ORM and
deploy it in the oracle container :)
Oracle's non-embedded app server (f/k/a Orion) uses JDK1.4.
I'm +1 on going to JDK 1.4 in 1.2+. As long as the 1.1 tree maintains
itself with JDK1.3 compliance, it shouldn't be a big deal even to
those who aren't +1..
