    Only downside is I don't have an OCI driver I can test with :(

    We had all sorts of problems with the Oracle8 OCI driver when we were
    using it, so we switched to thin client. Maybe I'll get lucky and
    still have it on a vmware, but I'm hoping to reproduce with thin
    client... will do my best!
