The last barrier that prevented us from publishing 3.0 M1 is gone. I
implemented final Maven assembly scripts, so downloadable releases
can be produced:
http://cwiki.apache.org/CAY/building-cayenne.html
I still need to poke around Maven docs to figure the right versioning
procedure when doing a release... Let me know if any of this doesn't
work.

>> Project: Cayenne
>> Issue Type: Task
>> Components: Cayenne Core Library
>> Affects Versions: 3.0
>> Reporter: Andrus Adamchik

>> Fix For: 3.0

>>
>> We need maven to be able to produce Cayenne distro similar to what
>> 2.0 ant script does. This way we'll be able to make releases once
>> Cayenne ASF status is resolved. And of course it should make more
>> usable nightly builds.
