I just tested out building the codebase from scratch with Maven 2.0.8 on Mac
OS X 10.5.1. Everything worked fine.

I don't know how well the upgrade would go for others, as this came after I
reformatted my MacBook Pro which I previously reported to have serious
stability problems. I'm happy to say that the reformat seems to have taken
care of that. I likely won't be binding this machine to an AD domain until
Apple fixes more issues there.
