  • Next message: Andrey Razumovsky (JIRA): "[jira] Created: (CAY-1080) Support for copy/paste of entities/attributes/relationships"

    Andrey Razumovsky updated CAY-366:
    ----------------------------------

        Attachment: patch-CAY-366.txt

As Kevin and I discussed, Log Console is a separate window (dialog) with a text area, 'Copy' and 'Clear' buttons. By default at first time it is not shown, and can be activated via 'Tools->Show Log Console'. After that, console can be shown at modeler startup if it was shown last time when the modeler closed (i.e. you close modeler main window, not log window).
Errors, warnings, fatals are printed with red color, other - with black.

    Some more notes:
    1. Default behaviour is saved, so messages are still printed used default commons-logging (for instance, to console, if no log4j set).
    2. I've now also suffered the problem with HSQL, when my show-log-property sticked to true, so console was shown every launch. After deletion of the data everything worked fine.
    3. Log console location is NOT saved in preferences. Every launch it appears at top left corner of the window.
    4. I've changed printing exceptions to stack trace to logging them in couple places. That's logical sequence to [http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/cayenne-dev/200806.mbox/%3c726D497F-EC9E-43E6-9498-C03F211774E..sh.com.au%3e]
