ASF Parent POM [Re: maven dependency issues]

    Hi Ari,

    Did they provide any justification for wanting others to use that parent
    POM? It strikes me that each project is different enough that a single
    parent POM would be more problematic than helpful.

    One thing I saw in there that would be nice for us to adopt is the gpg
    signing stuff.
