Yes, I installed Java: j2sdk1.4.1_01. Hmmm, maybe a new install of both will

I just doublechecked that modeler.bat is OK. I downloaded 1.0a6, and
simply doubleclicked on it. It worked. It worked from the command line
too. So what may be wrong with yours? Try checking a few things:
1. Do you have JDK 1.4? CayenneModeler tool requires it (though cayenne
itself can run on 1.3).
2. Did you move around cayenne jars and/or .bat files after you unpacked
Cayenne? modeler.bat relies on the relative location of these files.
BTW, since a6 CAYENNE_HOME is optional. modeler.bat will guess where the
jars are located based on its own location.
