echo %OS% prints "Windows_NT" on Windows 2000 as well. Thanks for the hint.
I'm guessing that's the windows equivalent for uname, unless "OS" is
something defined by WebObjects :)
I think my older computer can still boot into Windows 98.
I'll see what I can find out.
