remote access to cayenne as in eodistribution

    hello everybody,

    we develop server client applications based on webobjects and use the
    eclipse rich client platform ( www.eclipse.org ) to develop rich
    clients, communicating with the webobjects server trough eodistribution.

    now we would like to evaluate cayenne as an alternative for webobjects.
    is there anything like eodistribution in cayenne? ( existing or
    planed ). we could also imagine contributing to cayenne if appreciated.
