Thanks! After the postings I realized that running all the apps
together was the hard way. I only have to deploy the one
different-behaving app in its own space, on a separate host or in its
own app server configuration. Then I can use my first technique -- a
loop to call setDeclaredLockType() on all the ObjEntity's -- where the
other apps are running.
