Is single-table inheritance really supported?

    this issue is closed yet

    seems to indicate otherwise. So which is right? Are there any known
    issues with the current single-table inheritance implementation or has
    this been fixed?

            Also, I can't seem to find any documentation on how to model
    inheritance in the modeler GUI.
