Cayenne is NOT a Maven project. M2 support is added with an Ant task.
So you can do something like this to install Cayenne in your local M2
repo:
cd cayenne/cayenne-ant/ant/maven
ant install-all -Dm2.repo=/path/to/your/m2/repo
