yes, but the setting you are talking about says "currently ignored by all
adapters except Oracle" and it generates in the xml map
something like
<db-key-generator>
<db-generator-type>ORACLE</db-generator-type>
<db-generator-name>trx_support</db-generator-name>
<db-key-cache-size>1</db-key-cache-size>
</db-key-generator>
where trx_support is the db-entity name....
