I agree on the news... We already have a Confluence-based RSS channel
(see the front page link) where the announcements are posted. I guess
we can use the same mechanism as a kind of a blog to post thoughts on
the project direction and/or summaries of the dev list discussions to
that effect. Almost looks like we need an editor to watch the dev
list and post the info from there :-)
