    For MySQL you can use http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html
    There are Eclipse plugins like RMBench (http://www.byterefinery.de/produkte)
    MyEclipse also has support for ER diagraming (
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-60.html).
