By vote of the Apache Cayenne PMC, Xenia Khailenka is now a committer to this project.
Xenia graduated from the Belarusian State University, faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, specialising in Mathematical Informatics. Xenia's professional working career focuses on web-applications development and desktop-applications development based on Swing.
When asked why she was interested in Cayenne, Xenia responded:
"I consider programming as an exciting entertainment, that's why I like my job so much, and that's why I'm glad to participate in open-source.
"It's hard to say what in Cayenne attracts me the most, I think all the directions of development are very interesting. I was involved with the Eclipse Plugin for Cayenne Modeler and I'm interested in improving it. The big deal will be integration of SelectQuery and EJBQLQuery into one universal query. This would be great to make Cayenne even more universal than it is now, supporting not only the classic relational databases, but also the various NoSQL solutions."
The Apache Cayenne community is lucky to have Xenia join us.
