Can you query the database?
I've been using Sybase ASA (not ASE) for years with WO-development, on
both Windows and Mac, with very few problems. (I do not create/alter
databases from EOModeler - never even tried it.)
Tds in the JDBC URL has to be written exactly like 'Tds' (big 'T' small
'd' small 's'). Apart from that I can't remember having any problems
relevant to your situation.
I store the jconn2.jar in:
/Library/Java/Extensions
not in:
/System/Library/Java/Extensions
nor in:
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/x.y.z/Home/lib/ext
/Anders
