Well...
I thought using using a 3.0 wannabe would be a bad idea, but in the end
that's what I got (and it's a lot better than the 2.1 release).
As I understand it, it is SWT on Mac that is the problem. I've asked on
the SWT mailing list about just updating the 2.1 (or 2.1.1) release
with a newer swt.jar. I was told that should work. This way you can
keep up with improvements in SWT for Mac, but not use a beta version of
eclipse.
I haven't actually tried this. If anyone does, I'd like to know the
results.
