Our current advise to use SybaseAdapter for SQL Server is of course limiting. There are a few things that work differently on SQL Server, compared to Sybase, so a aseparate adapter is desirable.
I am checking in the first implementation that successfully passes all default unit tests (i.e. excluding LOBs, stored procedures, etc.)
