I'm playing around with JasperReport a little,
and had some mails with the creator of iReport (not from Apple)
In general I'm working on some helper classes for JRDataSource
and have a pre-apha Version of Velocity/ant helpers to generate a
default report for each ObjEntity.
To embed relation data I plan to use subreports.
There are some conceptional problems:
cayenne actually does not really support transient attributes,
so ervery getter method is suggested to be an attribute
( ... getDataContext par example ... )
So I've decided to generate my Object-Classes with ant,
and my template supports ObjAttributes without DbAttribute
After that, I'm able to take the Attributes from the
repository.
Actually I have to support another project and can only
invest a little of my time in cayenne ...
