    Continuing the OT discussion . . .

    If you get one, I would really recommend getting the 7200 RPM drive. I
    upgraded to Tiger in order to get Java 5 support, but in the process I
    also got Spotlight, which absolutely destroys slower drives.
    Unfortunately, getting rid of Spotlight isn't much of an option since
    Apple removed all other search functionality.
