    Hi All,

Andrus: my sourceforge id is bdudney.

    ***Mailing Lists:

Could I get the list of subscribers to the various lists. I'd like to
get started on the JIRA issues to get our mailing lists setup. From
looking at existing jira tickets we have to list out the email
addresses we want subscribed. I'm sure an attached file would be ok
to. We also need to put together a moderator for the lists before
posting so they know how to set them up. Also we want 'cayenne-dev',
'cayenne-user' and 'cayenne-commits' to be public and archived and
'ppmc' to be private and not archived right (I think ppmc has to be
    private).

My thinking is that we make this move a quickly as possible. Thoughts?

    *** CLA's

From what I could tell on

    http://people.apache.org/~jim/committers.html

The following people have submitted their CLA's and have been logged.

Andrei (Andrus that is you correct?) Adamchik
Mike Kienenberger (already a commiter so does not need an account)
Bill Dudney (already a committer so does not need an account)

I think the best thing to do for the Infra folks is to wait till
everyone's CLA's are ready and then submit one JIRA for account
    creation for everyone.

From what I could tell in our mailing list we have CLA's sent and
    signed from the following;

    Tore Halset
    Michael Gentry
    Kevin Menard

I thought I'd seen Cris' note about sending in a CLA but can't seem
to find it. Did you already send yours in Cris?

I think we need to give the CLA registration a week or so before
starting to worry that it did not make it. If I don't see everyone's
name there by Friday I'll ping someone about it.

    *** SVN - i.e. move the repo

Did we decide anything about this. Keeping the existing package names
until 1.2 ships does not seem to be a problem so we can continue
development with the 1.2 base without too much disruption if we want
to go ahead and get moved over. We have to wait till everyone has an
account obviously. From what I could find looking in our archives no
one has a problem with the switch its just a matter of timing. Does
anyone have a particular time in mind. I don't want us to be doing
that near the next milestone release and from a historical review of

    http://www.objectstyle.org/confluence/pages/
    viewrecentblogposts.action?key=CAY

it looks like we are close to another M release (how is CAY-470 going
    Andrus :-).

How about making the move of code right after M12 is released. I
believe that we just need to work out a time with Infra when we will
freeze and they do their svn import magic. Once done we switch over
the the SVN repo then we are good to go.

    *** WIKI

I don't think Noel ever responded to Mike's question about
Confluence. We should probably ask again. I think we should also run
up the pole a question about keeping the existing Confluence wiki
until there is a good wiki solution on Apache. (already sent the
    first part to genera..ncubator).

    *** JIRA

From looking over other projects JIRA requests the biggest problem
seems to be that its hard to separate out JIRA issues for a single
project during export. The instance..objectstyle is all Cayenne
right? If so I think this is simply a quick export/import. All we'd
have to do is attach the export file to the infra JIRA ticket I think.

    *** Site

lets copy it and figure it out later...

Thanks for sticking with me in the really long message. Perhaps it
should be resent in separate threads?

I could also post JIRA issues on our side to track what we need to do
and to keep track of consensus on what we want done for each of these
    areas.

    TTFN,
