    +1 for moving the lists ASAP.

    Issues:

    1. Spam: Bill, I'll send you subscriber lists privately. Let's not
    post them the ASF Jira until we can confirm that JIRA attachments are
    private (i.e. not visible by anyone without Infrastructure karma).

    2. Timing: People constantly (un)subscribe, so we need to reconcile
    subscriber list after we shut down objectstyle.org lists.

    3. Moderation: What is this for? PPMC list? Other lists are public
    with self-managed subscription and posting.

    4. Administrative access: At least one of our developers must have
    admin access to the lists (e.g. to help users to unsubscribe, etc.) I
    volunteer to be one of the admins. One possibility is email-based
    administration that ezmlm provides (I have no experience with it, but
    it looks like it allows all the main functions - sub/unsub/list);
    another is access to the list server box. If we can get that, all we
    need from infra is empty lists in place. I can shut down
    objectstyle.org lists and at the same time load the subscribers. This
    will address (1) and (2).
