It would be nice to make query cache an independent module that can be managed externally. There have been some discussions on that in the past [1], and now I have a real-life case where this can be tested.

I am going to start with pluggable local (per-DataContext) cache and OSCache and LRUMap implementations. We'll expand it to other areas over time. A showstopper to putting this in a DataRowStore is the need to switch it to object snapshots from DataRows ...
