There shouldn't be much of a transition effort to go from 1.1.3 to
1.2.x, but if you have a little time on your side for the port, I'd go
with 1.2.
If you are using PostgreSQL, the 1.2 implementation supports sequences
by default instead of using a DB table.
Look at http://objectstyle.org/confluence/display/CAY/1.2+User+Guide for
some of the changes. Cayenne is sufficiently EOF-like that you should
be quite happy with it. Plus, we have the source code! :-)

Subject: Which version? 1.2 or 1.13
I am looking at porting over an existing EOF based app and see
there is a new version under development (1.2M7). How stable is that
build? If I start on 1.13 how much hassle (if any) will I encounter
upgrading in the future?
Are there any compelling features that would make the 1.2
version worthwhile?
