Well, you don't typically deploy the modeler itself into production.

You can use the nightly build version of the modeler to edit your
Cayenne XML files, but use a milestone release for the actual runtime of
your application.

As I plan to put it in production use, a milestone seems like a
wiser choice than a nightly build.
