I came across this library recently and it reminded me of Cayenne's meta information and possibly of the DataViews (if I could understand them), but it doesn't seem so tied to Swing as DataViews are.

I wonder if DataViews could gain any new insights from this library. It would be cool if Cayenne had more support for generation of dynamic HTML forms and such, although just having the metadata is a huge step forward for me.
