    Not in the modeler, you have to do it in the source code. Look at:

    for information on how to do this (although it sounds like you are
    already doing it).

    PS. Some databases allow you to specify default values for columns
    inserted with a NULL value. I would advise not using a feature like
    that since the database values would then be out-of-sync with the
    Cayenne values.

            I was wondering if there is a way to set all default values for
    some fields in cayenne modeler. For example, for one of my fields value
    will be 10 by default. Is there a way to set that in cayenne modeler so
    i dont have to set that in java?
