This is the kind of thing (along with detection of simple changes at the
database, like adding an attribute) that I would really like to see:
managing (sometimes frequent) change of the database is, in my
experiance, a very time consuming activity with cayenne.
Concerning the eclipse-plugin idea, I'm not too excited: I could easily
imagine the functionality I miss most integrated into the existing
Modeler. A plugin? Hm...don't know. Wouldn't like to cut everyone else
(people who don't use eclipse) out. ...even though it's not like users
pay to use eclipse: you could use it just for that sole purpose instead
of the modeler...no, I don't think it'd give eclipse users the needed
advantage that would justify making it more acquard for other users to use.
